Terms of Service

Read in the order an order actually runs: what is sold, how it is agreed, what it costs, what each side has to do, and who carries what if something goes wrong.

These words are those of

ClipMotion Limited Registered in England and Wales Company number: 17460419 Registered office: 82a James Carter Road Mildenhall IP28 7DE United Kingdom team@clipmotion.org

Scene

The agreement between ClipMotion Limited and a customer for editing work on a recording.

Edition

16 September 2026. A changed page is published here carrying a later date, and the edition that governs an order is the one in force on the day the order was confirmed.

Frame 01

Who these terms are with

They are with the company on the slate, and they apply to every order.

Frame 02

What this website is, and is not

A description of a service. There is no basket, no checkout and no account.

Frame 03

What is sold

Five things. Every order covers some or all of them, and nothing outside this list.

Frame 04

What is not sold, and never will be

No audience, no reach, no result. Anything of that kind is outside this contract.

Frame 05

How an order comes into being

Quotation, written acceptance, order confirmation. All three, in that order.

Frame 06

What the price is, and what is in it

One total in pounds sterling, tax inside it, nothing added afterwards.

Frame 07

Paying

Against the confirmed order, on the terms the invoice states.

Frame 08

What you have to give us

The material, and the confirmation that you are entitled to send it.

Frame 09

What we will not edit

A short list, and an order is refused rather than argued about.

Frame 10

When the clips are handed over

On the date in the order, counted from the day the last thing we were waiting for arrives.

Frame 11

Changes after you have seen the clips

The rounds the quotation covers are used on what you have actually watched.

Frame 12

Who owns what

Your recording stays yours; the rights in the finished clips pass to you on payment in full.

Frame 13

How you may use what you receive

However you like. There is no restriction on where a clip you have paid for is published.

Frame 14

Your rights under the law, which nothing here touches

Reasonable care and skill, and files as described. These cannot be signed away.

Frame 15

Cancelling, and getting money back

Set out in full on its own page, because it is too important to summarise here.

Frame 16

Ending an order

Either side may end it; what is owed is what was properly done up to that point.

Frame 17

If something goes wrong

Write, and get an acknowledgement within 3 working days and an answer within 14.

Frame 18

What we are responsible for, and what we are not

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
